Etihad Airways has introduced a complimentary chauffeur service for premium passsengers travelling to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

First class customers are eligible for road connections within a 100km (62mi) radius, and business class passengers can travel up to 60km.

“We believe that the experience our customers have on the ground is just as important as the one they experience with us in the air,” said Etihad Airways executive vice president sales and services Geert Boven.

“Travelling to and from the airport often can sometimes leave passengers feeling pressured, something the new chauffeur service totally eliminates.”

Customers will be met at the arrivals area and escorted to their limousine by their chauffeur, making sure little time is wasted at the airport.

Two different vehicle types will be used: the Mercedes E series for First class customers and the Peugeot executive Sedan for those in Business. French transport company Chabe Limousines is providing the service.

Etihad’s chauffeur service is also available at Abu Dhabi, London Heathrow, Manchester, Dublin, Bangkok, New York, Munich, and Frankfurt.
