Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has partnered with investors Reignwood Group, in its latest development: the Fairmont Beijing hotel.

The 25-storey property is set to open its doors in summer 2008. It will feature 235 guestrooms, a selection of restaurants and bars, a library lounge, a multi-purpose theatre, a business centre, and function facilities.

“We are delighted to be working in conjunction with the Reignwood Group to develop Fairmont Beijing,” said Fairmont president and COO, Chris Cahill.

Beijing’s upcoming Fairmont hotel joins other recently announced projects in Shanghai and Macao.

The establishment is one of 20 properties in development with Fairmont, that currently owns 50 hotels in 12 different countries and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. 

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is owned by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, that manages more than 120 properties for a selection of brands: Raffles, Swissôtel, Delta, Fairmont Heritage Place and Fairmont Residences.

Reignwood Group was founded in Thailand in 1984, and is actively involved in international trade, property management, as well as the sports, leisure and cultural industries.
