A press release arrives from those good folk at Air New Zealand talking about how celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin is helping to promote its ‘Leaf Peeping’ campaign.

Quite apart from not even being able to pronounce Diarmuid’s name, I don’t really know either what a ‘celebrity gardener’ is and while we’re at it, what on earth is ‘Leaf Peeping?’

ANZ helpfully provides the explanation: “Leaf Peeping [their caps] is a quirky autumn activity where outdoor enthusiasts travel to witness and photograph the spectacular annual foliage colour change.”

That’ll be ‘looking’ then.
