Institute of Travel & Meetings Northern Ball 2010

Start Sat 20th Nov 2010 (18:00)

End Sat 20th Nov 2010 (23:59)

The Institute of Travel & Meetings North committee are proud to announce that the 2010 event will be held at the fabulous recently re-branded 4* Radisson Blu hotel at Manchester airport.

The event will be held on Saturday 20th November and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

This annual event has attracted some of the regions largest and most influential travel buyers along with some of the biggest names in the supplier community including Emirates, Qatar Airlines, Hilton Hotels, SACO Apartments and Flybe.

The event is a combination of celebration of the business travel and meetings industry, an opportunity to network with buyers, suppliers and intermediaries and this year a partnership has been formed with the regions most popular radio station, Key 103, charity "Cash for Kids".

The events nominated charities HCPT The Pilgrimage Trust and East Cheshire Hospice will continue to benefit from the proceeds raised. A raffle, that will consist of a number of airline and hotel prizes, will take place on the night along with a champagne reception, 3 course dinner and entertainment.

The event will be held on Saturday, November 20 and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

"Each year we try to build on the successes of this dinner and we're really excited about the 2010 event" said North Chair, Jean Handley.

Handley continued "our expectations for 2009 we're that we would reduce in size due to the recession, so when we managed to maintain the numbers at the same level as 2008 we were delighted, now its time to grow the event further.

In the last 4 years we have raised well over £12,500 for local charities and we hope that we can hand over bigger cheques each year for these incredibly special charities."

"Black tie dinners are always enjoyable occasions and we felt that it was time to share the fun we had with others, by forging closer working relationships with the charities, the sponsors and the local business community we can grow the numbers, increase the networking opportunities, the return on investment for the sponsors and ultimately increase the money raised for these wonderful charities with which we work," said Danny Cockton who works as part of the organising committee.

"Our partnership this year with Key 103 is a fantastic development for us, and we are delighted to be able to announce that breakfast DJ Chelsea Norris will be hosting the event for us."

Tickets are on sale now starting with their early bird rate of just £35.00 per ticket which includes a champagne reception, 3 course dinner (prepared by the Radissons new executive Chef) wine, coffee & mints as well as entertainment all night and some amazing raffle prizes as always.

Early Bird rates expire on September 30th after which ticket price will revert to £40.00 per person.
