Tom the site is looking pretty good. I notice the forum is kinda quiet - I hope it picks up soon. You Business Traveller forum is excellent, but I think ABTN provides the perfect platform for travel trade chat. Best
ABTN has always been the best site to view and keep up to date. Problem is that in the past couple of weeks you have added a restriction on how many articles you can view. Then you get the equivalent of the Microsoft blue screen of death "article limit reached". You want us to sign in to read? Sign in to post and comment maybe but to read? Just means I go elsewhere now. Sad as ABTN was always the best.
Hello,
I'm sorry you feel that way.
As you'll realise, there is no charge for reading anything on ABTN, but there are costs involved in producing the articles.
Asking readers to log in to read articles is a way of enabling us to see which articles are most popular, and also gather basic information about readers (such as whether they are travel buyers, for instance) which is useful for advertisers.
Of course you are free to go elsewhere, but since much of the competition now charges for you to read the articles, you might be better off staying here where the articles remain free.
