Change Recruitment are pleased to be working closely with a leading Travel Organisation to recruit a  Business Travel Operations Manager for their Scotland operation.  If you have 5+ years of business travel experience along with experience of managing a successful team then this could be the next step in your career.

Overview:

This is a senior appointment within the business where the successful candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing a strategy towards achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.  Candidates will have extensive experience in the Corporate Travel Industry and will have previously held a similar position. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·          To work closely with the Directors of the business

·          The creation and implementation of a business plan and strategy to grow Corporate Travel    business function

·          Team management including recruitment, performance management etc.

·          Development and implementation of Marketing and Sales plans

·          Identifying and penetrating new markets

·          Managing and growing existing accounts

·          Responsible for budgeting and monitoring sales figures

·          Dealing with client complaints or service issues

·          Creating a positive team spirit

The Person:

Candidates will have significant experience of managing a business travel tem or office and will previously have worked to a similar level. Outstanding leadership skills are required for this role as is the ability to communicate and influence on all levels.  A very service focused individual is required for this role as is the ambition to work closely with the Directors of the business to grow the company.

Salary and Benefits:
