We are currently running a search for a Travel Manager to be based in the Midlands. Our confidential client requires a tenacious Travel Buyer.

You will understand how the buying process of travel fits into the overall core business and company strategy, take a lead in providing input and make suggestions as appropriate.

Category experience within Travel is required, with specific knowledge of Hotel programmes and OBT implementation is desirable.

You will be required to create and deliver a communications programme to ensure continued uptake to the initiatives and programmes implemented to gain maximum and effective compliance.

You will be given responsibility for specific areas of spend, implement the appropriate elements of the strategic sourcing process to meet the agreed sourcing strategy, including stakeholder engagement, market and requirements analysis, supporting supplier selection, contract negotiation and document development.
