A fantastic, proactive business development role for an iconic London events venue has arisen. The role is to expand on the luxury facilities of the venue and develop new avenues of business.

Responsibilities for the business development manager - event experiences are:

• To develop new avenues of revenue for the venue, engaging new clients and business in the luxury hospitality side• To make cold calls and presentations to clients when required• To do detailed market research on competitors and establish the company brand within the experience and lifestyle venue market• Create and develop viable marketing strategies and implement them• Establish packages for sale and markets to pitch them to.

Requirements of the business development manager - event experiences are:

• Knowledge of running own business or developing a business from scratch• Experience in the hospitality sector, from luxury hotels to leisure, including cinema, catering and fine dining• Evidence of increasing business in the hospitality/events sectors• Marketing and account management as well as business and sales experience• Knowledge of the current hospitality and events market and the ability to identify new avenues for revenue• Excellent spoken English and communication skills and computer literate
