JAL offers hotel reservations
Japan Airlines (JAL) customers visiting the carrier”s website will be able to access an online hotel reservation service, through Expedia Japan.
The Japanese language hotel booking site contains details of more than 34,000 hotels in 140 countries, while Expedia has its own travel specialists who visit the properties to ensure information is accurate. Visitors to the site can also take a 360 degree tour.
From now until the end of December this year, JAL and Expedia Japan will run a promotional campaign so that everyone connecting to www.jal.co.jp to make a hotel booking at www.expedia.co.jp, will earn 100 bonus miles from the JAL”s frequent flyer programme, the JAL Mileage Bank.
JAL already has tie-ups with four other online hotel booking websites that offer passengers a choice of 20,000 hotels outside Japan. Expedia Japan”s addition takes that choice to 34,000.
