Full content on GDSs

Air Berlin, Germany's second largest carrier, has signed a full content deal with Travelport GDS.

Under the agreement, Travelport's two GDSs, Galileo and Worldspan will have full access to all fares and inventory of Air Berlin as well as its two associated carriers TUI and NIKI.

Travelport said that as part of the deal, all published and online fares will be available to Travelport-connected agents.

Jérôme Moisan, Travelport's general manager for the UK and Ireland, said: "The Air Berlin Group is a significant player in the lower-cost airline market and offers an extensive route network across Europe.

"In the current economic climate, corporate customers are increasingly attracted to the Air Berlin Group's winning combination of lower prices and high service levels, so we are delighted to have secured this full content for our travel agency customers."
