Airlines to list flights on websites
Germanwings and bmibaby are to team up.
Under a new agreement, the two low cost carriers (LCCs) will list each other's flights on their website.
The tie up will make 42 destinations available to would be passengers.
The carriers said the link will also allow passengers to booking connecting flights.
Germanwings, the third largest German airline, is part of the Lufthansa Group which took over UK carrier bmi earlier this summer which includes bmibaby.
The new deal will cone into operation on October 25, a joint statement said.
Thomas Winkelmann, Germanwings' ceo, said: "We are very excited to be able to get this new agreement up and running quickly for the benefit of our customers.
"Partnering with bmibaby increases our presence in the British market."
Crawford Rix, bmibaby's managing director, said: "By providing a direct link between bmibaby.com and Germanwings.com we are offering travellers in Europe even more places to fly to at really low fares."
