Flybe to fly Edinburgh to Belfast City

FLYBE is to open up a route from Edinburgh to Belfast City Airport from 1 March, three times daily in direct competition with British Airways who also offer three services weekdaily. 

Both will use turboprops, Dash 8 against ATP. 

easyJet goes from Edinburgh to Belfast International with a Boeing 737. 

FlyBE will also introduce at the start of the summer season (28 March) Exeter to both Edinburgh and Glasgow and add Glasgow to its existing Scottish (Edinburgh) schedule from Southampton.

Last week managing director Jim French (left)  took a quick trip up north for briefings on the new operation.
