Millennium Gloucester renews conference facilities

The conference facility at London”s Millennium Gloucester Hotel has reopened for business after undergoing extensive refurbishment. The facility, which re-opened earlier this month, has undergone a £5m ($9.5m) refurbishment and uses Asian themes in the design. Bamboo, natural materials and water features have been used.

It has space for meetings and events and has two large banqueting rooms, which have 10mb broadband and wifi access, VDU, screening facilities and intelligent lighting.

In addition, 146 of the hotel”s 336 guest rooms have been renovated to coincide with the conference centre redevelopment. All rooms now have wifi internet access and art deco features. The hotel”s redevelopment cost £2m ($3.8m).
