OMAN AIR is looking to order Boeing 787s or Airbus A350/A330s as it prepares to modernise its fleet in the face of stiff competition in the region.

The carrier, which is part-owned by Oman and Bahrain governments, is moving more flights to Muscat and is striving to compete more efficiently with Emirates and Gulf Air.
