Mellors joins Expotel
Expotel, one of the largest hotel booking and event management agencies in the UK, has appointed Luke Mellors as its new IT director.
Mr Mellors joins the company from the Dorchester Group in London where he had a similar role.
With a background in business finance, Mr Mellors has also won several IT awards including the British Computer Society award for Best Technology Services for an In Room technology project focussed towards customers in 2004.
He was also selected as CIO of the year by UK Technology Innovation and Growth awards in 2005 and this year was earmarked as the European CIO 'One to Watch' by European CIO magazines covering over ten countries.
