Leela Kempinski Gurgaon announces new GM
Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has appointed Vella Ramasawmy as general manager of The Leela Kempinski Gurgaon, Delhi.
Mr Ramasawmy will be responsible for the hotel's operational set-up and overall management. He will also oversee the strengthening of the group's presence in India's northern region.
He joins Leela from the Kempinski Hotel Khao Lak, Thailand where he worked as general manager and head of operations.
Mr Ramasawmy has 30 years' experience in management and operations having worked in various business and resort hotels around the world, including Kempinski, Hyatt International, Sheraton, Sun International, Le Touessrok Ile aux Cerfs and Le Saint Geran in Mauritius.
