Newbery re-joins Leela as Mumbai GM
Christopher Newbery has rejoined the Leela Hotel Group as general manager of the Leela Kempinski Mumbai.
Mr Newbery was most recently working as general manager and head of operations at the Serena Hotel, Kabul in Afghanistan.
He previously worked as general manager at the Leela Kempinski Mumbai in 1995-97.
Mr Newbery's career in the hotel industry has also included working for InterContinental hotels Group, Kempinski and Hilton Hotels at locations including Jinan, Beijing, Disneyland Paris, London, Paris, Cameroon and Madagascar.
