Harry Hohmeister to succeed as SWISS CEO
SWISS has named Harry Hohmeister as the company's new chief executive officer.
Mr Hohmeister, currently the airline's chief network and distribution officer and member of its management board, first joined parent company Lufthansa AG in 1988.
In 1992 he helped to restructure Lufthansa's distribution and marketing and was ultimately appointed vp of planning in 1996.
After a five year stint at Thomas Cook Airlines, Mr Hohmeister joined SWISS in 2005 as chief network officer.
Mr Hohmeister replaces Christoph Franz, Lufthansa's newly appointed deputy ceo, on July 1.
