McBain joins GHO as sales chief

Lyn McBain has joined the Great Hotels Organisation (GHO) as its new global director of sales and marketing.

Ms McBain previously worked form InterContinental Hotels for six years, most recently as its director of sales development for London.

Her new role at the luxury hotels' sales and marketing alliance, will give her full responsibility for the global expansion strategy.

Ms McBain who has 20 years' experience in the industry, has also worked for the City Inn Group, Choice hotels Europe and fro various independent properties in the luxury market.

GHO has also appointed Jeshly Sierra as its director of sales.

Ms Sierra, who has 15 years' experience in the hospitality industry, joins from Morgans Hotel Group where she was UK and Ireland sales director.

She has also previously worked for Starwood and Accor.
