To: Choice Hotels International
Choice appoints Murphy to sales role
Choice Hotel International has appointed Michael Murphy as its new senior vp for global sales.
In his new role, Mr Murphy will have responsibility for the chain's worldwide sales and marketing efforts.
He will also be Choice's main liaison officer with industry bodies including the National Business Travel Association and Meeting Planners International.
Mr Murphy has 25 years' experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry.
He joins from Marriott International where he senior vp for sales.
Before joining Marriott, Mr Murphy worked for Rennaissance Hotels and Stouffer Hotels.
