Nottingham Conferences to launch expert conference guide

21 Jan 2010 at 16:33 in MICE | PRESS RELEASE

Nottingham Conferences has announced plans to launch an expert conference and event guide.

The guide will launch ahead of Nottingham's flagship venue, the East Midlands Conference Centre, celebrating its 25th anniversary.

When it launches in May 2010, organisers seeking professionals to speak at their events will be able to take advantage of the guide's speaker directory; an index of various industry experts and academics available through Nottingham Conferences.

In addition to this, the guide will offer practical counsel on successfully arranging meetings and events, combined with tips and ideas to help gain the most effective results.

Marketing Manager for Nottingham Conferences, Kirstie Danzey commented; "As an academic venue, we have a wealth of resources readily available to us right on our own doorstep. This is not only in terms of academic speakers, but also in terms of research conducted at the university that can be applied to hosting successful meetings and conferences."

She continued; "This guide is our way of helping clients to gain access to these resources and also to offer them some additional industry advice that we have built up over the past 25 years."
