bmi hires Webster

Ray Webster, former ceo of low cost carrier easyJet, has been hired by bmi as a consultant.

He will advise the airline on strategy for its loss-making no frills carrier bmibaby.

Mr Webster left easyJet in2005 after ten years with the airline.

Bmibaby was launched in 2002 and is a significant part of bmi's operation.
