Heywood in court next month
Ian Heywood, the UK airline executive held in Qatar since May1, is to appear in court next month, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said.
A spokesman said it had no details of the charge or charges My Heywood, 47, would face on October 5.
Mr Heywood was working out his notice at Qatar Airways where he was vp global sales and distribution before joining bmi when he was arrested on May 1.
He was released on bial on May 28 but not allowed to leave the Gulf state.

European companies 'to go on travelling'
The vast majority of businesses in Europe say they plan to keep travel at the same level or increase it in the next 12 months, according to a new American Express survey.
The first ever survey by Amex and CFO Research Global Business & Spending Monitor found that European corporates regard travel as "critical" for their business.

MAXjet shares suspended
Shares in MAXjet, the all-business class transatlantic airline, were suspended on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market.
The reason given by the carrier was the need for "clarification of its financial position."
But MAXjet said its flights would continue to operate normally and there were no plans to later the schedules.
MAXjet began services between London Stansted and New York in 20-05 and now runs 34 flights a week to and from the US.
