VLM Airlines will from Janaury 12 operate flights between London City Airport and Eindhoven, with two services every weekday and a daily flight on Sundays.
The route was previously flown by CityJet, VLM Airlines's partner airline. VLM Airlines specialises in offering flights between the British capital and major cities in the Benelux countries, and in addition to Eindhoven, the airline offers flights from London to Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Luxembourg and Rotterdam.

UK regional Eastern Airways will enter the busy London City (LCY) to Amsterdam route early next year.

In July this year VLM Airlines announced that in the first six months of 2005, it carried 315,739 passengers. It's not much by Air France/KLM or BA standards but it represented an increase of 20% on the figures for 2004.
